What we collect
Account data: name, email, password hash, billing address, and payment metadata returned by our payment processor (we never see your full card number).
Usage data: pages viewed, features used, IP address, device type, browser and approximate location, used to operate, secure and improve the Services.
Content data: the data you create in the Services (audits, posts, contact lists, generated images, etc.).
How we use it
To provide and maintain the Services, process payments, send transactional and (with your consent) marketing emails, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and improve product quality.
Lawful bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on contract (to provide the Services), legitimate interest (security, analytics, product improvement), consent (marketing emails, optional cookies) and legal obligation (tax, accounting).
Sharing
We share data only with vetted sub-processors used to run the Services - hosting (Vercel, Railway), payments (Stripe), email (Resend), error monitoring and customer support. A current sub-processor list is available on request.
International transfers
Some sub-processors operate outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements or Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards.
Retention
We retain account data for the life of your account and for up to 7 years afterwards for tax and accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, port and delete your personal data, to object to processing and to withdraw consent. Email support@utilityseo.com to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and security, plus optional analytics cookies to understand how the Services are used. See our cookies page for details.
